The "back" side of the Playing Card is known as the "common" side. This is the side of the Playing Card that is always the same. Images and/or words are included on your "backs."

The front side of the playing card is known as the "face" of the playing card. This side is where you see the playing card digits/pips and symbols.

There are two standard playing card sizes: Bridge and Poker.
